Amazing Miniature 1860s Tintype Black Siblings - Freed Slave Children? RARE! drugs Photographed at Gurney's 17 UnionOriginal miniature "gem" tintype photo of a group of children. They are unidentified, but I have sold a variation of this image in the past, and sold another, and it has been suggested that they were freed slave children, or related to the great abolitionist Frederick Douglass but I was never able to confirm that. The image is in very good antique condition, with some light scratches visible under enlargements magnification. It measures about 1" x 3
